SHANNON COOPER Owner/Artistic Director received her Bachelor of Science Degree at West Chester University in Finance and Dance Education/Choreography.  She began her early dance training at the age of five in the Lancaster County area where she grew up.  There she studied Jazz, Ballet, Tap, and Lyrical dance at Carol's Academy of Dance and with Chet Zercher at Dancer's Workshop.  She has also studied dance at Broadway Dance Center in New York, Koresh Dance Center in Philadelphia and has attended dance conventions and studied from numerous internationally recognized teachers such as Frank Hatchett, Jermaine Brown, Brian Friedman, Joe Tremaine, Mia Michaels and Wade Robson.  Shannon performed in West Chester University's Contemporary Dance Company both as a student and an alumni, the WCU Dance Team, and WCU’s Dance Production Workshop where she served as both President and a choreographer.  She has also performed with Opus 1 Contemporary Dance Company based out of the Philadelphia area.  Shannon has provided cheerleading camps for both Lionville and Downingtown Middle Schools, choreographed musicals for Downingtown Middle School, and choreographed for Great Valley High School Dance Team.  She is also a certified Zumba instructor.

She has been teaching dance since she was fourteen years old in Chester County, Delaware County and Lancaster County and is excited to bring a program to the Coatesville area.  Shannon and her husband reside in Valley Township with their son and two daughters.

ALLISON KOFKE Manager/Instructor Ballet/Pointe/Jazz/Tap/Lyrical is a graduate of West Chester University with a major in Business Management and a minor in dance. Allison performed with the University Dance Company as well as set several pieces on them. She started dancing at the early age of three and has been trained in ballet, pointe, jazz, tap, modern, lyrical and hip hop. Allison was a member of the Longwood Dance Theatre for four years and performed throughout the tri-state region. She has been teaching and choreographing at Longwood Performing Arts in Kennett Square since 2005. Allison taught hip hop at the Center for the Creative Arts in Yorklyn, DE for two summers. She has also directed the dance program at Pocopson Elementary School for their spring chorus concert since 2009. She has attended numerous dance conventions including New York City Dance Alliance, Los Angeles Dance Force, and The Pulse; studying under Mia Michaels, Shane Sparks, Brian Friedman, Andy Blankenbuehler, Mike Schuster, Joe Lanteri, Sonya Tayeh, Laura Fremont, Tyce Diorio, Joey Dowling, Wade Robson and Suzy Taylor. Allison is also a member of the Zumba Instructor Network. We welcome Allison to the studio and are excited to have her dance knowledge on our staff.

JILL B. LADD Instructor Ballet/Pointe trained for twenty years at the Upper Merion Civic School of Dance in King of Prussia and was part of their performance group the "Valley Forge Dance Theater".  Jill performed at the Valley Forge and Westbury music fairs dancing featured rolls in such ballets as "The Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty, and Cinderella".  Jill is a graduate from Elon College in North Carolina where she performed with the dance company and earned a B.S. in Business Administration.  She has been teaching in Chester County for the past ten years and is pleased to join our staff.  Jill looks forward to teaching dancers of all ages!
